1. What is a signature?

Signature is that little space below your post. You can write anything in it. It can be your name, your favorite quote, a picture, etc.

2. How do I use a picture in my signature?

First, you have to upload your image.
Do not direct link to other sites, unless you have the owner's permission.
Here is a good site for hosting images: http://www.imageshack.us

Now go to your Profile. In the Signature section, put the following in:

[img]URL[/img]

Replace the "URL" with the link to your picture.

3. Can I use a UBBC codes in my signature?

Yes, you can.

4. What is UBBC?

Universal Bulletin Board Code.

HTML and other scripting languages cannot be used on message boards because it gives hackers a way to harm forums. Instead, we have UBBC. It is a lot simpler than HTML, and it does not damage a forum.

The most common format is: [action]TEXT[/action]

If you replace "action" with "b", the TEXT becomes bold.

Replace it with "i" and the text becomes italic.

The "u" makes it underlined.

5. How do I use my own avatar?

If you don't like any of the given avatars, there is a way to use your own image. Go to your profiles, and paste the URL of your avatar into the Avatar URL box.

Below it should say: "Avatar Width," and "Avatar Height." Put the size of your pic there. If you don't know what it is, just put "100" in both.

6. How do I make a hyperlink?

Use this code:

[url=URL]TEXT[/url]

7. How do I turn an image into a hyperlink?

Use this code:

[url=URL][img]IMAGE[/img][/url]

8. What if I don't want ubbc or smilies to work in my post?

Use this code:

[noubbc]Anything Goes Here[/noubbc]
